At the combined heat and power plant in central Salzburg, an anti-icing system is installed to heat the air inlet duct of the gas turbine. For this purpose, KELAG AG has planned and delivered the turning and heating unit for the heat carrier water / ethylene glycol. Component engineering and construction began in early October, 2001. The unit was ready for delivery in mid-January, 2002.

Creation of compensator lines for gas turbine power plants

Compressor skid to seal the nitrogen which is used to rinse pipelines and plants in the petrochemical industry.

Oil module with 2 x lubricating oil and 2 x emergency oil pump. 5 x jacking lube oil pumps. The tank is the size of a small single-family home. These lubricating oil plant supplies all bearings of the world record turbine (1750MW-capacity) at the Olkiluoto3 nuclear power plant Finland. Transport is via Basle, Rotterdam.

Oil module L including Pipe bundle cooler to supply the turbine bearings with lubricating and jacking oil. Consisting of a tank (oil reservoir) equipped with main and emergency oil pumps to operate the turbine. In addition, two jack oil pumps are installed to supply the turbine rotor with oil when starting. A separate oil cleaning plant also ensures high-quality oil in the bearings.

Oil module S including Pipe bundle cooler to supply the turbine bearings of a steam turbine with lubricating and jacking oil. Consisting of a tank (oil reservoir) equipped with main and emergency oil pumps to operate the turbine. In addition, two jack oil pumps are installed to supply the turbine rotor with oil when starting. It is ensured with an integrated filter system that oil used is free of contamination from the turbine. The oil quantity is in a cycle and is returned back to the tank.

Successor for tunnel drills for the Gotthard Basic Tunnel (Alptransit manufacture and installation of 2 successors for tunnel drills). These drills are used for the creation of the Gotthard Basic Tunnel in Amsteg (world's largest railroad tunnel [57km]). The total weight of the steel structure is approx. 260 tons.

Installation of a remote steam line and a remote condensate line, laid out in a concrete canal and on an energy bridge extending over the Rhine. Power supply was achieved for the 2nd largest industrial companies in the principality of Liechtenstein (Hilcona AG und Herbert Ospelt AG, Bendern) with remote heat from the waste combustion plant VfA Buchs.

Lubricating oil unit with 2 lubricating oil pumps, an emergency oil pump and 3 jack oil pumps including double filter and plate heat exchanger: Tank volume 40,000 litres for lubricating oil ISO VG 46.

In the state-of-the-art production centres of Kelag AG, the following tanks with wall thicknesses up to 48.0 mm have been planned and manufactured according to ASME guidelines for operation in the Middle East.
